Who we are.
West Road and Westley Community Church are one church but with two sites located on the west side of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. We as a church seek to Love God, Share Jesus and Grow Together so as to be a Jesus centred people changing lives in Bury and beyond.
What we're doing.
While we can’t meet together, join us online for our livestreams at 10:30 for a 10:45 start. We’ll be joining together in our homes across Suffolk (and the world!) for inspiring worship, encouraging talks and updates about what we’re doing in our community.
Frequently asked questions.
Can I come to church on Sunday mornings?
No, sorry! Due to precautions we are taking, we can’t allow a congregation of any size to enter the building. However, please join us online at westroad.online.church at 10:45 every Sunday for a livestreamed service.
When will I be able to come back into the building?
In August, we’ll start to risk assess if we can meet as small groups in the building (e.g. for prayer) and if we can make it a safe place of work. September time onwards we may be able to explore if we can set up some kind of rota for people to attend on a Sunday if the local infection rate and guidelines permit.
I know someone without internet access. How can they enjoy the services?
We know that not everyone has internet access. We are now running a dial-in service where you can listen the latest Sunday message from your phone! Just phone 01284 634037 and after the welcome message, press option 1. Find out more here
How do I get prayer or support?
This is a difficult time for everyone. If you need prayer or support, big or small, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be in touch.
