Westley Community

Where do we meet?
We meet each Sunday at Westley Middle School, at 10.30am.  We have a main meeting hall for worship and teaching plus two classrooms which are reserved for children’s work and for a crèche. There is plenty of free parking  by the entrance. While the school is only available to us on Sundays, we regularly uses Westley Community Hall close by for outside events.

What happens?
Westley Church is very much family-orientated  being blessed with many children aged from crèche stage up to young teens. Coffee and tea is served before and after each service. ‘Bring and share’ lunches happen every first Sunday in the month – and all are welcome.

While we identify closely to the parent church at West Road, Westley offers a relaxed meeting point where the truths of the gospel are taught and upheld in a less formal setting. Our aim is to provide an accessible and friendly atmosphere. We are very aware that for many, ‘church’ is a new experience

What else do we offer?
We use the local Community Hall for many of its extracurricular activities.
There is a weekly Mother and Toddler group, meeting each Thursday from 1pm to 2.30pm.
Weekly Keep Fit Classes are held each Monday from 2-3pm – particularly useful for seniors.
Ballet classes for a wide range of ages are held on Saturdays.
Monday Coffee Mornings are held in the Westley Community Hall 10.00 – 11.30am  All are very welcome to pop in for a cuppa .
We currently run Alpha groups for those asking questions about the Christian faith, as well as those who like to dig a little deeper.
In addition, we have a number of Homegroups for Bible study, prayer and encouraging care within small groups, meeting in our homes.

You would be very welcome to come along to all of these activities – email [email protected] for more information.
